Complexity Orientated Learning in Health – From Educators to Students I Our Multiplier Event in Romania

To move closer to our impact goal of a healthier society across Europe by better acknowledging the role of higher education in it, the ECOLAH consortium moved forward with promoting a holistic learning journey in Romania.

The aim of the multiplier event held in Iasi and hosted by the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University from 19th to 20th of April 2024, was to introduce health educators and students to our concept of embracing a complexity-oriented learning approach. In addition, the event was used to test and validate first approaches and results developed.

Whilst the first day included presentations and discusssions in a hybrid format to raise awareness to Romanian teachers and students but also beyond, the second day provided a dynamic onsite workshop named “Walking the ECOLAH Japanese Garden”. It included activities based in Jigsaw, Fishbowl and Hyde Park Corner formats.

Our ECOLAH multiplier event was attented by 168 teachers and students from Romania.
