ECOLAH CONSORTIUM

INNOVATION NEEDS TEAMWORK

We are a dedicated team of health and education professionals working towards making complexity-oriented learning a reality in higher education health curricula.

OUR PROJECT CONSORTIUM

To lead to solutions that are applicable across the health sector, ECOLAH brings together nine organisations from six European countries, of which six are higher education institutes.

We form an engaged team of educational innovators from formal, non-formal, and informal learning environments. This set-up facilitates transitions between different levels and types of learning.

Our partnership includes the Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen (NL), the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences (NO), the Metropolia University of Applied Sciences (FI), the HAN University of Applied Sciences (NL), the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança (PT), the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi (RO), SPIN Sport Innovation (DE), the Gebiedscooperatie Westerkwartier (NL), and the THRIVE Institute (NL).

Associated partners complement our expertise. They have a focus on consolidation and valorisation, plus they take the role of ‘critical friends’ across all project processes.

OUR CRITICAL FRIENDS

The supporting team of critical friends comes from UNESCO’s Global Futures Literacy Network, the Dutch Top Sector Life Sciences & Health (Health Holland), and the Aletta Jacobs School of Public Health with the SCOPE expert centre from the University Medical Center (NL) and the University of Groningen (NL). With their support we enhance our real-time learning.
