On 12 November 2021, our full ECOLAH partnership met online to start our common journey. Under the motto “Exploring to Learn to Navigate the Perfect Storm” the consortium partners reviewed the context and objectives of our project, and gathered ideas for our common journey.
The meeting was led by Paul Beenen, who leads the project as coordinator and the team of educational innovators from the Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen (NL), together with Matthias Guett from SPIN (DE). They had co-developed the project based on their vision to foster Europe’s transition in health education.
The partnership present included teams from the Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen (NL), the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences (NO), the Metropolia University of Applied Sciences (FI), the HAN University of Applied Sciences (NL), the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança (PT), the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi (RO), SPIN Sport Innovation (DE), the Gebiedscooperatie Westerkwartier (NL), and the THRIVE Institute (NL).
The consortium is supported by a group of critical friends from UNESCO’s Global Futures Literacy Network, the Dutch Top Sector Life Sciences & Health (Health Holland), and the Aletta Jacobs School of Public Health with the SCOPE expert centre from the University Medical Center (NL) and the University of Groningen (NL).
